For good joinery, you’ll need a good mallet. This one is appropriately shaped for the task! In this class, you’ll make a mallet from two pieces of hardwood. You can use one of our mallets to chop out the tapered mortise on your own. Then you’ll be fitting a tapered handle to that mortise using a handplane.
Hand tool woodworking experience is recommended but not required.
In addition to tuition, there is a $25 materials fee.
